Tibet - 2004.

Tibet: "Roof of the world", "The forgotten country", "Land of buddhism" and many other names. One month, September 2004 I took these photos, from this legendary country, its proud and peaceful people, its incredible temples, its changing cities and its fantastic nature. An overwhelming experience, where words and photos become unsufficient to express what I saw - and felt, of this proud nation now being in an extremely rapid change towards a chinese-dominated region. You will see the rapidly changing Lhasa with Dalai Lhama's Potala Palace, the important Jokhang and Gyantse Monasteries, trekking to the oracle lake Lhamo LaTso through nomadic settlements, and the impressing Mt. Everest and its surrounding landscape.
