"American Images"
The American nature is one of the most breathtaking in the world, having inspired photographers from the early beginning of the photographic era. In the western U.S.A you find some of the most pristine places, that are almost icons of the American nature. Here, in Utah, Nevada, Arizona or California nature started an incredible sculptural work, more than 10 million years ago. Here Ansel Adams and others left their studios and taking with them their large view-cameras and tripods. I have wanted to go there too, not to copy them, nor to sit and wait in front of the "Half Dome" for a "Clearing winter storm". I have simply wanted to look at the large and small landscapes in my own way, plate them with my view-camera, and try to convey to you some of these natural wonders. Nature has such an immense range of qualities and surprises. The more you stay, the more you discover. Nature will never be obsolete, neither as resource for life, nor as goal for the camera lens.
